CAST IRON PATTY MELT

These heavenly sandwiches are so good! You will surely love every bite of these delicious treats. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 large sweet onions, peeled, halved, and thinly sliced

8 tbsp unsalted butter, divided

1/3 c mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

1/2 tsp yellow mustard

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp ground black pepper

4 Chop House by Holten Angus Sirloin Steak Burgers

8 slices thick-cut sourdough or rye bread

4 slices medium cheddar cheese

4 slices Swiss cheese

Directions:

Step 1: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-low.

Step 2: Add 2 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt.

Step 3: Add the onions and cook them for about 30 minutes or until caramelized and translucent on low heat.

Step 4: Meanwhile, in a small mixing bowl, add the ketchup, mayonnaise, garlic powder, mustard, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Step 5: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Step 6: Add 2 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt.

Step 7: Add the burger patties. Refer to the directions provided on the package on how to cook them.

Step 8: Spread the sauce over each side of the sliced bread.

Step 9: Distribute the onions into 4 slices of bread.

Step 10: Place a burger patty over each bread, followed by a slice of cheese, and then the other sliced bread.

Step 11: In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt.

Step 12: Add the sandwiches and both sides until slightly toasted. Make sure to add more butter if needed.

Step 13: Place the sandwiches on a clean serving plate.

Step 14: Serve and enjoy!
