Whenever my friends come over, I always make sure to prepare this awesome recipe! Oh, man, it is the perfect food to serve pretty much all the time! The combination of flavours of chicken and pineapples is just amazing! As perfect as it is, feel free to add more ingredients though if you feel like it. I am sure that you can do a lot with this very simple set of ingredients. I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Have a beautiful day, everyone, and I hope you are all well. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

3 Tablespoons soy sauce

3 Tablespoons brown sugar

1 Tablespoon sesame oil

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon garlic powder

8 boneless chicken breasts, cut into 2″ pieces

1 20 ounces can(s) pineapple chunks, drained

1/2 cup your favourite BBQ sauce (I love Sunset Gourmet’s sweet & spicy brown sugar bourbon sauce)

Directions:

Step 1: Add soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger to a shallow glass dish. Stir until well combined.

Step 2: Add the chicken strips as well as the pineapple into the glass dish. Toss until well coated, then let it marinate for 2 hours inside the fridge.

Step 3: Prepare the grill and preheat to medium-high.

Step 4: Brush with oil on the grill.

Step 5: Use a skewer to impale the chicken and pineapples.

Step 6: Place them over the preheated grill and cook for about 20 minutes or until done. Make sure to baste them with barbecue sauce and flip them from time to time.

Step 7: Serve hot and enjoy!
