This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I remember my Grandma made this casserole all the time! I am so grateful to her for teaching this recipe to me because now, I get to share it with you as well! Feel free to tweak this recipe to your liking. Have the most beautiful day, friends, and I hope you are all well today. Enjoy!
2 pounds bacon
1 (30-32ounces) bag frozen tater tots
1 (1-ounces ) package Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 c milk
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the bacon and cook until brown and crispy.
Remove the bacon from the skillet onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess grease.
Slice the cooled bacon into small pieces.
Add the bacon slices into a large mixing bowl.
Add the tater tots and cheeses. Toss everything until well combined.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
In a mixing bowl, add Ranch mix, milk, and eggs. Whisk until well combined.
Pour the mixture over on top of the bacon mixture and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
Feel free to use turkey bacon instead of regular bacon.
You can prepare this the night before. Place it inside the fridge until ready to bake.
