CRUSTLESS CHEESEBURGER QUICHE

This recipe is pure genius! I really can’t express how much I love this dish. Needless to say, It is a complete meal. With all the meat and eggs, this will make you full for the rest of the day. Give it a try and see for yourself. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

3 thick slices bacon, diced

½ small yellow onion, diced

1 ½ pounds lean ground beef

salt and ground black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon garlic salt

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

6 large eggs eggs

½ cup mayonnaise

½ cup heavy whipping cream

Directions: 

Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 3: Add in the bacon and onion. Cook for 5 minutes or until the bacon is brown.

Step 4: Add in the beef and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook the beef for 5 minutes or until the color is no longer pink.

Step 5: Season with garlic salt and onion powder for extra flavors. Cook for another 5 minutes or until the color of the beef turns brown. Remove the excess oil.

Step 6: Transfer and press the beef mixture into the 9-inch pie plate. Top it with 3/4 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese.

Step 7: In a medium bowl, add in the eggs, heavy cream, and mayonnaise. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 8: Pour in the mixture on top of the beef and cheese mixture.

Step 9: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until cooked through.

Step 10: Sprinkle the rest of the Cheddar cheese over. Bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted completely.

Step 11: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.

Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
