EASY OVEN BAKED PORK CHOPS

Ingredients:

Dry Rub

½ tsp Italian seasoning or dried oregano

½ tsp sea salt

¼ tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp paprika

2 tbsp brown sugar

½ tsp garlic powder

The Pork

2 tbsp olive oil

4 boneless pork chops (1-inch thick)

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.

Line foil onto a baking sheet.

Add all the ingredients for the dry rub into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well incorporated.

Use paper towels to pat dry the pork chops.

Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle the dry rub over the pork chops, then rub each until coated well on all sides.

Arrange the pork chops onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the pork chops for about 20 to 25 minutes or until an inserted thermometer reads 140 degrees F.

Remove the pork chops from the oven and allow them to sit at room temperature for at least 5 to 10 minutes to incorporate all the flavors.

Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes:

I highly recommend using thick pork chops for this recipe because they stay juicy when cooked!

Cooking time depends on how thick your pork chops are.

I suggest you use an instant-read thermometer to check the temperature of the pork chops to prevent them from overcooking.
