  • Kosher salt, to taste (for pasta water)
  • 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup (240g) ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups (225g) mozzarella cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F). Prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by applying cooking spray.
  2. Place a large pan on the stove over medium-high heat. Apply cooking spray and allow it to heat up.
  3. Add the diced onions to the pan and sauté until they become translucent.

  6. Stir in 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning and 2 cups of marinara sauce. Mix well to combine.
  7. Cook the spaghetti according to the directions on the package. Drain the cooked pasta and return it to the pot. Add 1 cup of marinara sauce and toss until the spaghetti is well coated. Set aside.
  8. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, ricotta cheese, and the remaining teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Stir until well mixed.
  9. Spread half of the cooked spaghetti on the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  10. Layer the cheese mixture evenly on top of the first spaghetti layer.
  11. Add the remaining half of the spaghetti on top of the cheese layer.
  12. Scatter the cooked ground beef over the spaghetti and spread the remaining marinara sauce over the top.
  13. Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
