Tater Tot Casserole is a classic dish made with the favorite potato bites, ground beef, and loaded with cheese. It has layers of amazing flavors stacked together in every single bite. The best part? It’s super easy!

Ingredients:

Ground beef 2 lb
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 onion diced
4 cloves minced garlic
2 cups mushrooms sliced
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cans (15 oz each) green beans drained
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
32 oz frozen tots that you won’t use all
Salt and pepper to your liking

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375° F

Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season the meat with salt and Worcestershire sauce.

Drain any excess fat and place the cooked beef in a baking dish. Spread evenly.

Sauté the mushrooms and onions in a skillet for about 4 to 5 minutes, or until they become translucent.

Stir in the garlic and continue cooking for one more minute.

Salt and pepper to your liking

Mix flour with water and mix to form a roux.

Slowly add heavy cream and stir until combined. Adjust salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for one minute.

Reduce heat to low, and add the sour cream. Place the mixture on top of your beef.

Add 2 cups cheddar cheese. Add green beans and 2 cups more cheddar cheese.

Finish the dish by topping it with frozen tater-tots, placing them in a row across the entire surface.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until tater-tots are golden brown.

Serve immediately
