  • 4 cups fresh broccoli see notes below, if frozen broccoli is used
  • 1 large boneless skinless chicken breast. Diced into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • FOR THE SAUCE
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar for rice
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
