THE BEST BREAD PUDDING

This is Bread pudding is very satisfying! The soft and creamy inside of this will surely light up your day. Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 16 oz loaf French bread1 16 oz loaf French bread

5 eggs5 eggs

1 cup sugar1 cup sugar

1 1/2 cup milk1 1/2 cup milk

1 1/2 cup heavy cream1 1/2 cup heavy cream

2 tsp vanilla2 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg1/2 tsp nutmeg

Sauce:

1 cup heavy cream1 cup heavy cream

1 Tbs flour1 Tbs flour

1/2 cup sugar1/2 cup sugar

4 Tbs butter4 Tbs butter

1 tsp vanilla1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Apply nonstick cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Cut the bread into 2-inch squares and place them in a large mixing bowl.

Step 4: In a separate mixing bowl, add milk, eggs, sugar, cream, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 5: Transfer the milk mixture over the bread and stir carefully until everything is well coated.

Step 6: Let it the bread soak for 20 minutes.

Step 7: Arrange the soaked bread into the greased baking dish.

Step 8: Bake inside the preheated oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until the centre is done.

Step 9: Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 10: Add the flour, heavy cream, and sugar. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 11: Add the butter and allow it to melt and boil.

Step 12: Stir until slightly thick and remove from the heat.

Step 13: Add in the vanilla and stir until blended.
