BAKED BUTTERMILK CHICKEN STRIPS

These heavenly Chicken strips will surely make your day extra special! Oh, man, I’m telling you! I love serving these with ranch dressing or ketchup but feel free to choose your dip. Also, serve these delicious treats over pasta or rice and you have yourself a meal to remember! As perfect as this recipe may be, feel free to still add more ingredients if you prefer. Ingredients:

12-15 chicken strips

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

2 tablespoons flour

1/2 c buttermilk

1 c Panko breadcrumbs

1/2 c parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon butter

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add butter and allow it to melt.

Add the Panko Crumbs and cook until brown.

Transfer the crumbs into a mixing bowl.

Add Parmesan cheese into the bowl with brown crumbs and stir until well mixed.

In another mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, buttermilk, flour, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Add the chicken slices into the bowl with the buttermilk, then into the crumbs. Make sure to coat them well and shake off any excess.

Arrange the chicken slices onto a baking sheet.

Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let the chicken strips cool for a few minutes at room temperature.

Serve with ranch dressing or ketchup. Enjoy!
