Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts or thighs boneless-skinless
  • 16 bacon slices cooked and chopped
  • 1 pound of spaghetti
  • 2 cans condensed mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 8 ounces baby Bella mushrooms sliced
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 oz packet Ranch seasoning mix
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper for a delicious taste

Topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups cracker crumbs I used Ritz crackers
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Butter or oil a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Make Chicken

  • Place chicken breasts or chicken thighs in a medium-large saucepan and cover with water.
  • Bring to boil on medium heat. After boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and cover the pot with a lid.
  • Boil the chicken, depending on its size, for between 15 and 25 minutes. A meat thermometer can be used to check the temperature. It should be inserted into the thickest portion of the meat and read 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
