If you’re looking for an easy, delicious and family friendly meal or appetizer to serve this football season, try out this tasty Taco French Bread Pizza Recipe. With only a few ingredients, it’s an easy recipe that you can whip up for all your guests and it will be enjoyed by everyone!

Ingredients:

1 large loaf of fresh bread, cut in half (from the bakery).
1 lb. Ground beef of 90% or more (you can use turkey, if you wish)
1 package taco seasoning
1 (10 oz.) 1 (10 oz.)
1 (15 oz.) 1 (15 oz.) Hunt’s Petite Diced Tomatoes
1 (4 oz.) 1 (4 oz.)
2-3 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Optional toppings
Shredded lettuce
Green onions
Sour cream
fresh tomatoes

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F
Brown the beef in a large skillet. Next, add the taco seasonings, Ro*tel and tomatoes to the skillet. Finally, add the black olives.
Mix well until beef is cooked through and mixture is bubbly.
Place the skillet on the stove and let it cool.
Cut your french bread loaf horizontally into two pieces and place the 2 pieces on a large baking tray.
As your first layer, use 1 cup of cheese. Next, generously top with the taco filling. Finally, sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top.
Bake the pizzas for 12-15 minutes in the oven. I sometimes turn the broiler on at end for 2 to 3 minutes to brown edges and get cheese bubbling.
Take the pizza out of the oven and cut it into triangles. You can also add additional toppings, if desired.
Serves a large crowd
Enjoy!
*Time saver: Make the taco filling ahead and keep it in the fridge until you’re ready to assemble the pizzas.
