Ingredients :
- 500 g (1.1 lb) beef steak, cut into small pieces
- 150 g (0.33 lb) shredded cheddar cheese
- 100 g (0.22 lb) cream cheese, softened
- 120 ml (0.26 lb) heavy cream
- 1 medium onion (about 150 g / 0.33 lb), finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter (about 30 g / 0.07 lb)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Optional: 100 g (0.22 lb) mushrooms, sliced
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook the steak:
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the steak pieces and cook until browned. Remove and set aside. - Sauté the vegetables:
In the same pan, cook the chopped onion and garlic until soft and fragrant. Add mushrooms if using and cook until tender. - Prepare the creamy mixture:
Lower the heat and stir in the cream cheese and heavy cream. Mix until smooth and well combined. - Combine everything:
