  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 907 grams (2 lb) potatoes, peeled and cut into 2.5 cm (1 inch) chunks
  • 75 grams (1/3 cup) unsalted butter
  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 60 grams (1/2 cup) bacon bits, cooked and crumbled
  • 115 grams (1 cup) cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
