Mexican Stuffed Pasta Shells Recipe

Mexican Stuffed Pasta Shells is a recipe that combines ground beef, tomato sauce, and cheese for a delicious dinner.

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins

Ingredients:

Ground Beef 1 lb
1/2 cup diced yellow onions (diced)
2 TBS taco seasoning
4 oz cream cheese
8 oz jumbo pasta shells
10 oz enchilada sauce
1 cup salsa
1 1/4 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

Boil a large pot with water.

Boil pasta shells in boiling water for 10 minutes or until al dente according the package instructions. When they’re finished cooking, rinse them.

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Meanwhile, cook your ground beef and onions until well browned.

Stir in the taco seasoning.

Stir in the cream cheese, and cook on medium heat until the cheese has melted. Set aside.

Combine the salsa and enchilada Sauce in a small bowl.

Put about half of the enchilada salsa mixture into a 9×13 pan. Cover the pan with the remaining sauce.

Each jumbo Shell should be filled with 1 TBS of the meat mixture. Then, place the sauce in the pan.

Continue doing this until you are done with the meat mixture.

Add the remaining enchilada salsa salsa to the shells.

Wrap pan in aluminum foil.

Bake for 30 minutes or till the filling is heated through the shells.

Place foil on top and cover with shredded cheeses

Bake the pan for an additional 10-15 mins until cheese is melted.

Add your favorite taco toppings to the bowl, or just enjoy it as it is.
