Mouthwatering Homemade Meatloaf Recipe

One of my favorite dishes is meatloaf. It’s a dish that is just as nostalgic as it is delicious. In this article, I’ll show you an easy recipe for making mouthwatering homemade meatloaf. The best part? Making this dish at home will cost you so much less than ordering takeout!

This is the best meatloaf recipe you can get, with minimal preparation work required.

The Ingredients:

Meatloaf Glaze:
1/3 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon tomato paste
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon mustard

Meatloaf:
2 lbs ground beef 90% lean
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
1/4 teaspoon red pepperflakes
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 cup plain bread crumbs
1 cup milk
2 eggs beaten
1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

The Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F

Aluminum foil can be used to cover a baking sheet. Apply oil lightly. Set aside.

Mix all ingredients for the “Meatloaf”, in the same order as the breadcrumbs. Mix well. Add the milk and beaten eggs. Mix until well combined.

Mix in the cheddar cheese. Do not overbeat.

Make a loaf of the beef mixture and place it on the baking sheet.

Combine all glaze ingredients in a small bowl. Stir until well blended. Set aside. Use about half the glaze to coat the meatloaf.

Bake the meatloaf in the oven for 45 minutes or until it reaches 160F. Bake for 15 minutes more, then brush the glaze on the surface.

Let it cool down for about 10-15 minutes after it’s done. Slice it and serve.
