Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup diced yellow onion
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 cups French-fried onions
  • 2 cups cheddar and mozzarella cheese mixture
  • Pillsbury 12 oz refrigerated biscuits

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375F
  • Place ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter or margarine to taste.
  • Add the chopped onion to the skillet with the ground beef.
  • As the meat cooks, crumble it.
  • Once the ground beef has been cooked through, turn off heat and drain any grease.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the onion powder, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Stir well.
  • Add the sauce to the pan along with the ground beef.
  • Stir until all of the ground beef has been coated with sauce.
  • Stir in the French's fried onions and return to the pan.
  • Spread the sloppy Joee mixture in a 9x13 inch greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the cheese shredded on top.

  • Place the biscuits on top of the cheese. Space them as evenly as you can.
