A great breakfast is the best way to start your morning. My family loves a good breakfast. This Southwest Egg Bake is delicious! It has everything you need, including the bacon, sausage, cheese, and diced green peppers. You can modify the ingredients to suit your family’s tastes.
24 oz sausage crumbled
8 pieces of bacon crispy
3/4 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
1/2 cup chopped green chilies
1 cup chopped green onions
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 325°F
Cook the sausage in a large skillet until it is crumbled. Drain the grease and place aside.
Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp. Transfer bacon to a paper towel and let cool. After bacon is cooled, crumble.
Add eggs, milk and seasonings to a large bowl. Whisk until well blended.
Mix together cheddar cheese, diced green chillies, and green onions until you have a well-combined mixture.
Mix together sausage and bacon.
Put the mixture in a 9 X 13 inch greased baking dish.
Bake covered for 55-60 minutes or until eggs are cooked.
Serve with hash browns or country-style potatoes
