  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil

  • 8 oz (225 g) noodles, rice noodles or egg noodles

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • 1 tsp (3 g) sesame seeds (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes to make the sauce.

  2. Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through.

  4. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and stir to coat evenly. Let simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.

  5. Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to combine with the chicken and sauce.

  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
