Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
Chop 1/2 medium onion
Three cloves of garlic minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup sour cream
1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream mushroom soup
1 (12 fluid ounces) can corn drained
2 cups shredded cheddar divided
32 ounces frozen tots
Salt and pepper to your liking
Chop scallions for the serving (optional, to your taste).
Instructions:
Pre-heat the oven to 375F. Move the rack to the top of the oven.
Cook the beef and onions in a skillet. Stir occasionally. Continue cooking for about 7-8 minutes. You can drain any excess fat.
Cook the garlic, Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning in a skillet for approximately one minute.
Reduce heat to medium. Stir in the sour cream and mushroom soup. Add 1/2 cup cheddar. Mix well and heat for a minute.
Transfer the skillet mixture into a 9×13 casserole dish. Smoothen in an even layer. Optional: If you have an oven-safe skillet large enough to hold the mixture, you can make the casserole in that skillet.
Spread the remaining cheese over the casserole, then top it off with the tater-tots.
Bake covered for 45 minutes, or until the tater-tots are golden brown and the cheese bubbly. Add chopped scallions, salt and pepper to taste.
