Ingredients
  

  • 2 tubes 8 oz each refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 –2 envelopes or 2–4 Tbsp taco seasoning to taste
  • 1 medium tomato chopped
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • optional: avocado taco sauce, hot sauce, black beans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F
  • Lay the crescent roll dough on a large, ungreased cookie sheet. Seal the edges by pressing down on the perforations. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes, or until the top is light golden brown.
  • Mix the softened cream cheese with the sour cream while the crescent rolls bake. Use a whisk to remove any lumps. Set aside.
  • Brown the ground beef, then drain. Optional: Add one can of drained black bean for additional protein. Mix in the taco seasoning, 1/4 cup water, and cook for another 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • After the crescent roll pizza dough has been baked, take it out of the oven and let cool for about 3-5 minutes. Spread the cream cheese/sour cream mixture on top of the crescent rolls. Sprinkle the ground beef mixture over the top. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and any other toppings.
