The Best French Bread Recipe

I’m a bread lover. I love making bread for the family. The best French bread recipe is not difficult to find and is always a hit with the kids too!

There are a lot of great bread recipes out there, but this is the best French bread recipe that we’ve found. This bread has a crispy crust and a soft, fluffy interior, and it’s perfect for dipping in soups or eating on its own. We highly recommend giving this recipe a try!

What you need:

1/4 cup salted butter
3 crushed garlic cloves
8 oz cream cheese
16 oz sour cream
1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt, or to your taste
Artichoke cans 8.5 ounces un-marinated, rinsed and drained.
8 oz chopped spinach, thawed, and squeezed dry
2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese – DIVIIDED
1 cup mozzarella cheese freshly grated – DIVIDED
1 large loaf Italian bread or your favorite bread

How to make them?

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper. Set aside.

Butter can be melted in medium-sized saucepan. Sauté garlic in butter until fragrant. Add cream cheese, sour cream, and salt. Mixture will become creamy and smooth if you continue to stir. Now add chopped spinach, artichokes and 1 1/2 cups of parmesan cheese. 3/4 cup mozzarella is added. Let the cheese melt. Turn heat down and cook another 10 minutes stirring often.

Place your bread loaf on a prepared baking tray and cut out a large rectangle. Make a rectangle by removing the top and hollowing out the middle to create a rectangular bowl. The spinach dip should be poured inside the bread. Finally, sprinkle the remaining 3/4 cup mozzarella and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 25-30 minute or until cheese is melted, golden brown, and bubbly. Let the bread cool before you cut it into slices. It is best to be served warm.
