1 loaf French bread, approximately 1 lb.
1 stick salted butter at room temperature
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Fresh Parsley, for garnish
Preheat oven to 350°F
Mix together the butter, garlic, Italian dressing dressing, and 1 cup Mozzarella cheese. Stir until combined.
Split the French bread into half and spread equal amounts of garlic butter on each half.
Butter the halves and place them on a baking sheet. Spread the butter-side down on each half. Top it with Parmesan cheese and then add remaining Mozzarella.
Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
Turn the heat up to 450°F and bake for an additional 8 minutes until the top is golden brown. During this time, keep an eye on the oven.
