- 1 cup salted butter melted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa Powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
Chocolate Frosting
- 1/4 cup salted butter softened
- 1/4 cup milk I use 22%
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa Powder
- 3 cups powdered Sugar
Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with foil. Spray foil with nonstick spray. Set aside.
Add the melted butter to the bowl of an electric stand mixer. Blend until smooth using the paddle attachment.
Mix the flour with the sugar. Mix together and then add the eggs and vanilla. Just mix until well combined. Don't over mix. (The batter will be thick).
Spread the batter in a baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the brownies cool in the oven for 15 minutes before frosting them. Frost the brownies while they are still warm.
CHOCOLATE FROSTRING: Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Spread the frosting over warm brownies. Allow to cool completely before cutting into and serving.
