Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Chicken breasts 2 pounds
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic mashed
  • 1 lb uncooked penne pasta
  • 1 cup of hot water
  • 5 oz fresh shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Black pepper and kosher salt
  • Garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Dry chicken breasts and season them with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place chicken breasts in olive oil on high heat.
  • To slow cooker, add chicken breasts, heavy cream and chicken broth, butter and garlic cloves.
  • Cook the chicken on low for approximately 4 hours, or high for 2 to 3 hours until it reaches 165 degrees.
  • Take the chicken out of the slow cooker. Let it cool in a bowl.
  • Mix 1 cup of water with uncooked pasta penne, and cover. Cook on high for 30 minutes. Only cook until the pasta is tender.
  • Stir in the parmesan cheese, chicken shredded, and salt to taste.
