Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease and flour a 10-inch bundt cake pan.
Mix together flour, baking powder and cinnamon in a large bowl.
Use an electric mixer to combine the sugar, butter and vanilla in a large bowl until they are smooth and creamy. You will add the eggs one at a while, blending well between each one.
Mix the flour mixture with the milk, alternately.
Place the batter in the prepared pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool for 20 minutes.
Make the cinnamon glaze while the cake is cooling. Combine the sugar, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and water in a small saucepan. Mix the sugar, water, butter, vanilla and cinnamon in a small saucepan. Heat on medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture becomes slightly thickened.
Place the cake on a wire rack and place it over a plate. Use a fork to poke holes in the cake. Then drizzle the cinnamon syrup glaze over it.
Serve, slice, and enjoy!
