Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/3 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 3 cups Whole Milk
  • Cracked Black Pepper to taste
  • 4.5 ounce Dried Beef sliced
  • Toasted Texas Toast Bread Slices

Instructions
 

  • Place the butter in a saucepan and heat on medium heat. Add the butter.
  • Once the butter has melted, add the flour to the bowl and stir to combine.
  • To get rid of the raw flour taste, simmer the roux for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Next, add the milk. Stir or whisk until combined.
  • Stir in the cracked black pepper and chipped beef to the white wine and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens.
  • Serve with toasted bread (shingles), biscuits, or hashbrowns
