Cinnamon Roll Crescents Recipe

These cinnamon roll crescents are the perfect breakfast or brunch treat. They're easy to make, ooey-gooey, and bursting with cinnamon sugar flavor. With just a few ingredients, you can whip up a batch of these crescents in no time.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tube 8 oz crescent rolls (227 g)

For the filling:

  • 4 tablespoons 56 g butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup 50 g granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons 4 g cinnamon

For the glaze:

  • 2 tablespoons 28 g butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup 30 g plus 2 tablespoons (15 g) powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon 2.5 mL vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll and separate crescent rolls and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Spread the mixture over the crescent rolls and roll them up tightly. Arrange so the tip side of the roll is facing down on the baking sheet.
  • Bake until lightly golden, 10-12 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, stir together melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pipe or drizzle the glaze over the warm crescents and serve.

Notes

You can add chopped nuts or raisins to the filling for added texture and flavor.
For a creamier glaze, you can add a tablespoon of milk or cream to the mixture.
These cinnamon roll crescents are best served warm and fresh out of the oven.
