- 450 g sausage I used Jimmy Dean brand
- 1 227g package cream cheese, softened
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 180 g shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 340g cans Grands Jr flaky biscuits (20 biscuits in total)
Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F. Lightly spray mini muffin pans with cooking spray, set aside.
Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
In a mixing bowl, stir together the cooked sausage, cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese.
Remove biscuits from cans and split each biscuit into two. Place each biscuit round into muffin tin. Scoop sausage mixture into biscuit cups.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown.
You can add your favorite spices or herbs to the sausage and cream cheese mixture for an extra kick of flavor.
To make this recipe even easier, you can use pre-cooked sausage crumbles instead of cooking the sausage from scratch.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Simply reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
