Shrimp Lo Mein

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces 227 grams of lo mein noodles, cooked according to package instructions.
  • 470 grams of large shrimp.
  • 1 large green bell pepper.
  • 2 small carrots.
  • 2 cups of broccoli.
  • 2 medium onions.
  • 4 medium garlic cloves.
  • 3 tablespoons of sesame oil.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the lo mein sauce by dissolving "Better Than Bullion" and brown sugar in boiling water. Add soy sauce to the mixture and set it aside.
  • In a heated pan, cook the shrimp in sesame oil until golden brown. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set it aside.
  • In the same pan, sauté the onions in sesame oil until golden brown.
  • In a separate skillet, simmer the carrots, bell peppers, and broccoli. Return all the veggies to the skillet and stir in the garlic. Add the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the veggies. Pour the prepared sauce over the vegetables and let it simmer for approximately 2 minutes.
  • Toss the cooked noodles together with the shrimp and vegetable mixture. Cook for an additional minute before removing from the heat.
