- Pat dry the shrimp with paper towels. In a bowl, combine the shrimp with the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
- In a large non-stick skillet, melt the butter with the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring often, until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp in an even layer to the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes on each side until pinkish and cooked through.
- Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the shrimp with lemon juice. If desired, sprinkle with minced parsley. Serve the Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp topped with the extra garlic butter sauce from the pan.
Notes
For a spicier kick, increase the amount of cayenne pepper or add red pepper flakes.
