Method
- Line a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
- In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt together the butterscotch chips and peanut butter, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chow mein noodles and salted peanuts (if using), stirring quickly to coat.
- Working quickly, drop by spoonfuls onto the wax paper.
- Let cool until set, then enjoy!
Notes
Make sure to work quickly when dropping the mixture onto the wax paper, as it will begin to harden and become more difficult to shape.
You can substitute other types of nuts for the salted peanuts, or omit them altogether for a nut-free version.
