Method
- Cook pasta for 1 minute less according to the al dente package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water. Do not rinse the pasta.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil. Brown the beef for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium. Season with 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir in garlic, onion, Worcestershire sauce tomato paste, chili flakes and parsley. Add 1/2 cup pasta (or plain water) to the bowl. Allow meat to simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Mix in the pasta and 1 cup mozzarella. Cover with the rest of the cheese. Garnish with more parsley.
