Dry chicken breasts and season them with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place chicken breasts in olive oil on high heat.
To slow cooker, add chicken breasts, heavy cream and chicken broth, butter and garlic cloves.
Cook the chicken on low for approximately 4 hours, or high for 2 to 3 hours until it reaches 165 degrees.
Take the chicken out of the slow cooker. Let it cool in a bowl.
Mix 1 cup of water with uncooked pasta penne, and cover. Cook on high for 30 minutes. Only cook until the pasta is tender.
Stir in the parmesan cheese, chicken shredded, and salt to taste.
