  • 240 ml (1 cup) milk
  • 240 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 450 g (4 cups) sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. Spread the thawed hash browns evenly in the baking dish and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, combine the milk, heavy cream, dry mustard, salt, garlic powder, parsley, and black pepper. Place the saucepan over medium-low heat and add the grated cheddar cheese, stirring frequently until the cheese is melted.
  4. Pour the cheese mixture over the hash browns in the baking dish.
  5. Bake the dish, uncovered, in the preheated oven until the edges have turned golden brown, which should take around 60 minutes.
