  • ½ cup (120 ml) water
  • ½ cup (120 ml) salsa

  • 1 cup (190 g) long-grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese

  6. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18 to 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
