Ingredients:

1 tube (8 oz) crescent rolls (227 g)

For the filling:

4 tablespoons (56 g) butter, softened

1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar

2 teaspoons (4 g) cinnamon

For the glaze:

2 tablespoons (28 g) butter, melted

1/4 cup (30 g) plus 2 tablespoons (15 g) powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll and separate crescent rolls and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Spread the mixture over the crescent rolls and roll them up tightly. Arrange so the tip side of the roll is facing down on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake until lightly golden, 10-12 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, stir together melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Pipe or drizzle the glaze over the warm crescents and serve.
