Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz. can diced tomatoes with Italian herb
  • 3/4 cup tomato pasta sauce
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 breasts of boneless skinless chicken
  • 2 tablespoons chopped finely fresh basil

Instructions
 

  • In a slow cooker of 3-6 quarts, add tomatoes and pasta sauce.
  • Add cream, corn starch, and milk to the slow cooker. Add garlic, salt, basil, and pepper to the slow cooker.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a bowl and mix with the sauce.
  • Cook the meat on low for about 3-5 hours or until it reaches 165°F. A larger slow cooker will cook quicker.
  • Mix in fresh basil. Serve over pasta, rice, or with salad and vegetables!
