Ingredients
  

  • SPICE RUB
  • 2 teaspoons or to your taste, chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon or to your taste, paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
  • THE HONEY SAUCCE
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • CHICKEN
  • 1 tablespoon cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil
  • 6-8 boneless skinless chicken legs
  • For garnish green onions

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375F
  • Over medium heat, melt coconut oil in a cast-iron skillet.
  • Mix the spice rub ingredients together and combine until well combined.
  • Toss the chicken in the spice rub, and coat it.
  • Place chicken in a skillet. Cook for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Mix honey and apple cider vinegar together in a bowl. Stir until combined.
  • Turn off the heat, remove chicken and drizzle honey sauce over it.
  • Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Let cool in the oven for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with green onions.
  • Serve.
