  • 15 oz. 3 pork chops, 430g
  • Salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon chopped Italian Parsley for Garnishing
  • Honey Sauce
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons warm water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Season the pork chops both sides with salt and ground pepper. Combine all ingredients for the Honey Garlic Sauce. Mix well.
  • On high heat, heat a cast iron skillet (preferred). Add the vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon butter and the spices. Place the pork chops in the skillet. Pan fry each side for 3-4 minutes or until it turns brown. Flip the pork chops over and do the same.
  • Place the pork chops on one side of the skillet. Add the rest of the butter. Sauté the garlic for about 10 seconds or until it turns light brown. Cook the Honey Garlic Sauce until it thickens or turns amber. Spread the sauce on top of the pork chops. Serve immediately after removing the heat. Garnish with the parsley.
