Ingredients
  

  • 4 Bones in thick pork chops about 1" thick
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oils
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepperflakes
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 400°F Season the pork chops with salt & pepper.
  • On medium heat, heat vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet (I use castiron). Sear the pork chops on both sides for 3 minutes. Set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium and add butter, garlic brown sugar, red bell pepper. Stir until well combined. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Toss the pork chops in the pan again and coat them with the sauce.
  • Bake the skillet in an oven-safe oven for 8-10 minutes, or until pork chops reach 145F.
  • Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes. Serve with fresh chopped parsley.
