Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Process the Oreos, including all fillings, in a food processor until they are completely broken down
Add the melted butter to the mixture. I use a food processor.
Place in a greased 9-inch Spring Form pan that is at least 3 inches high (this is higher than the standard !!!!).
Bake for 8 minutes.
Mix cream cheese, white sugar and sour cream in a mixer until smooth.
Combine the eggs and mix until well combined.
Add the chopped-up Mini Snickers.
Bake for one hour in the preheated oven Turn off the oven. Allow to cool in the oven for 2 hours
To make the caramel topping (optional): Heat the butter, brown sugar, half-and-half, and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Whisk the mixture until it starts to foam. Slowly whip the mixture for about 3 to 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
