- 1.5 lbs Boneless skinless chicken breasts or 4 large breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder divided
- 1/2 Tsp Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 Cup small chopped broccoli florets
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/4 Cup Cream Cheese
Preheat the oven to 375F
Place the chicken on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to cut through the middle.
Continue with the remaining chicken breasts. Season with salt, pepper and paprika on all sides.
Combine the broccoli, cream cheese, garlic powder and shredded cheese in a bowl. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Place the mixture in the breasts of the chicken and close the pocket with toothpicks.
In a large ovenproof skillet, heat oil on medium heat. Place the chicken in a skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Then, transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 15 to 17 minutes.
The meat thermometer should be inserted into the middle of the chicken and read 165F. Enjoy!
