Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 14 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated Sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick-cook oats old-fashioned oats work just as well.
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9x13 inch pan lightly with cooking spray.
  • Mix together all-purpose flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
  • Mix the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until it is light and fluffy.
  • Mix in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
  • Add the dry ingredients. Mix on low speed until well combined. Then increase the speed to combine the dry ingredients.
  • Gently mix in the chocolate chips and the oats. Place the batter in the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Let the bars cool before cutting and serving. Keep the bars in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.
