How to Make the Perfect Orange and Lemon Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 3 to 4 lbs Parts of bone-in chicken
  • 2 oranges sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp. 1/2 tbsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. 1/2 tsp.
  • 1/4 tsp. Red pepper flakes are optional
  • 2-3 fresh thyme sprigs
  • 2-3 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Combine olive oil, garlic and orange juice. Add lemon juice, dried oregano and dried paprika to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper as needed.

  • Half the orange slices and half of the lemon slices should be placed at the bottom a baking dish.

  • Place the pieces of chicken on top of the sliced oranges in the baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
