Ingredients

  • 16 oz penne pasta
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 12 oz Kielbasa sliced
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley

Instructions

  • Cook your pasta according the package instructions. Drain and place aside.
  • Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add minced garlic. Let it cook for about 1-2 minutes, then add the flour. Mix until butter and flour are well combined.
  • Add chicken broth and half-and-half. Mix in chicken broth and half and half. Continue whisking for five minutes, until thickened. Stir in 1 cup mozzarella and Parmesan until the cheese is melted.
  • Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Place cooked pasta in a casserole dish. Pour over warm Alfredo sauce. Mix. Place kielbasa in a casserole dish. I added half of my own and then placed the other half on top. Sprinkle with parsley and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Enjoy!
