  • 2 packages 28 oz of cornbread dressing mix (such as Pepperidge Farm)
  • 1 envelope of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 quart 946 ml of chicken stock

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a saucepan, bring the chicken stock and Lipton Onion Soup Mix to a boil.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cornbread dressing mix with the hot stock and mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a large baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until hot.
  • If the dressing seems too dry, add more chicken stock.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, use vegetable stock instead of chicken stock.
You can add cooked sausage, bacon, or chopped vegetables like celery and onion to the mix for extra flavor.
Leftover dressing can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
