  • 360 ml 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 packets of chicken gravy mix
  • 310 ml 1 1/4 cups Condensed Chicken Soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (approximately 450 grams or 1 lb)
  • 120 ml 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • In a slow cooker, whisk together the water, gravy packets, condensed chicken soup, garlic powder, salt, paprika, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the slow cooker, flipping them on both sides to coat them well with the gravy mixture.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 4-5 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  • Carefully remove the cooked chicken from the slow cooker and shred or cut it into desired pieces.
  • Whisk the sour cream into the slow cooker until the gravy is smooth and creamy.
  • Serve the shredded chicken with the rich gravy poured over the top, and enjoy!
