Combine the brown sugar, cayenne peppers, garlic powder and paprika in a small bowl. Add some freshly cracked pepper (10-15 cranks from a pepper mill).
Place the chicken thighs onto a cutting board. Dry them with a paper towel. Spread the brown sugar mixture on the chicken and coat both sides.
Place the olive oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Once it is hot, drizzle the oil on top and stir to coat. Cook the chicken coated side-by-side for 5-7 minutes or until it is cooked through. Serve immediately
