Ingredients
  

  • 360 ml 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 packets of chicken gravy mix
  • 310 ml 1 1/4 cups Condensed Chicken Soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (approximately 450 grams or 1 lb)
  • 120 ml 1/2 cup sour cream

Method
 

  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  2. In a slow cooker, whisk together the water, gravy packets, condensed chicken soup, garlic powder, salt, paprika, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the slow cooker, flipping them on both sides to coat them well with the gravy mixture.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 4-5 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Carefully remove the cooked chicken from the slow cooker and shred or cut it into desired pieces.
  6. Whisk the sour cream into the slow cooker until the gravy is smooth and creamy.
  7. Serve the shredded chicken with the rich gravy poured over the top, and enjoy!
